Manage your time, track your learning, and see your KNOWLEDGE GROW! Horse Courses Online presents the basics of safe, proper horse handling, and riding/driving techniques designed from an Internationally proven program. The Course Curriculum is presented in these formats;

  • Section Topis with corresponding lessons.

  • Slideshows
  • Quizzes & Questions are presented at the end of each lesson to test your knowledge.
  • Upon comleting each course a CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT is generated on the Students Dashboard, (with 90% grade required with unlimited attempts to achieve this.)

  • Courses are theory-based and are meant to assist students to prepare for Equestrian Canada Learn To Ride Program or anyone wanting to learn proper horsemanship, equitation, and driving skills.

The Therapeutic/Adaptive Riding Series was created in 2017 by  Brenda Godin a Certified Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association Senior Instructor and the CanTRA Zone 3 Representative. 

All courses are theory-based and are meant to assist students to prepare for the Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association Instructor Certification, to learn more about CanTRA Instructor requirements click here.

If you wish to use any of our courses on this website for Professional Developmental, Updating Hours or University/College Continuing Education Credits, it is your responsibility to contact the Organization in question for their approval prior to completion.

We do not give documentation for hours used to complete courses.

(ii) at least 12 years old, and who are authorized to access the Site by parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s).

Equine-Assisted-Online-Learning offers grade school students who are interested in horses a unique way to earn School Credits!

  • Students MUST receive approval from their TEACHER, SCHOOL DIVISION, and/or PARENT/GUARDIAN prior to registration. (Disclaimer: It is the responsibility of the individual student/teacher(s) to seek approval if needed from their Local Department of Education for a student to receive credits).
  • It is the responsibility of the School/Teacher/ and/or School Division to establish credit hours for each course on this website.
  • Students must pass with a 90% grade average (unlimited attempts to achieve this).
  • A certificate of Completion is generated on the Members Dashboard.
